The Library Police Holiday Krampus Extravaganza

Picture
I'll be honest: any attempt to explain the content of this episode is a bit futile. I'm genuinely not sure what happened. Christopher Merchant appeared, like a lanky hairy Yeti hipster, emerging from the mist, his bellowing Joseph Campbell testimony echoing across the murky wetlands. Rachel is definitely there at the beginning, and vanishes mysteriously at some point, being the only one smart enough to pull the rip cord and escape from this train wreck of an episode. Josh tries to discuss a trend he saw this year, Dietrich says it's not a trend, Chris cries because he decided to consume a Bud Light Lime-a-Rita, and somehow a racist Chewbacca starts trying to mentor Scout Finch. Everyone is excited / scared / disturbed by Infinite Jest, Dietrich references a Rocky sequel WAY too often, and finally, if you listen closely, you can hear Jacob plotting our death in the background as he contemplates the torturous ordeal of editing what we're serving up to him. It's one of the most chaotic episodes that we've ever recorded, and considering our history, that's saying something. We'll be back soon with a regular episode, but until then, you can let this percolate through your subconscious. Hell, you should have heard the discussions that DIDN'T make the final cut.  You can send questions and comments to us by utilizing our Contact Us form.
