Episode 181: A Gift Giving Guide

Picture
This week, Josh and Dietrich sit down for the last regular episode of 2015, and work to provide a little guidance for what books should be on your holiday shopping list. They talk about the joys of Percy Jackson and Lemony Snicket for young children, how to find adult books for teenagers looking for something with a bit more edge, and talk about how books like The Martian are ideal gifts for just about anyone on your list. In addition, Josh raves about the newest book from Micheal Connolly, and talks about a self-published book by author Brian Kendall. Dietrich touches base with an update of a book about the current generation of television greatness, and revisits one of the great novels by science fiction legend Philip K. Dick. All of us here at the Library Police hope that you have a safe, wonderful, and happy holiday season, and we will return next year!
