Episode 157: The Return of the Gift Giving Guide

Picture
This week, Dietrich, Josh and Rachel sit down to talk about some various books for the different types of people in your life. They discuss books for gamers and nerds, self published books that stand out from the crowd, and more. In addition, it's a very Stephen King heavy episode, as Dietrich discusses both the new Revival and the podcast favorite 11/22/63, and Rachel rounds that out with The Shining. Dietrich and Josh also discuss an acerbic, darkly funny book about four friends having dinner, Josh reads a short story collection that blows him away, Joe Hill releases a trio of Kindle Single short stories, and Josh wraps up talking about a book that finds his name on the dedication page. Finally, they wrap up with a discussion about several podcasts, John Stewart's new movie, a bizarre television show that has Dietrich very hesitant, and finish off by saying goodbye to a beloved show that's wrapping up a nine-year-run.  You can send questions and comments to us by utilizing our Contact Us form.
