Episode 138: A Conversation With Joe and Kasey Lansdale

Occasionally, we get the opportunity to sit down with authors and talk to them about their lives, their writing, their careers, and anything else that rattles through their head. This week, a Library Police favorite returns to sit down with us, as Josh and Christopher sit down for a conversation with Joe Lansdale and Kasey Lansdale. Joe has been a guest on our podcast before, and we jumped at getting the chance to sit down with the splatterpunk horror and thriller writer, but having his multitalented singer/songwriter/author/Italian Skype learner daughter was icing on the cake. Over the hour long interview, Joe and Kasey talk about the kind of household that produces such creative and driven personalities, their approach to creativity and how they manage failure, and share some stories from their respective careers. It's a remarkable discussion, and a genuine treat for Josh and Chris. You can send questions or comments to questions@thelibrarypolice.com.
